No way better to start your day than with a nice cup of your enemies blood.


     Three times he’s checked the phone in the last half an hour and nothing yet. The waiting around is getting on his nerves. He’s never been good with patience, only falling back on it when needed. It’s one of the virtues he lacks but wishes he didn’t.

     The tap on his shoulder is a nice distraction, if a small one. Jax turns, eyebrows going up before blue eyes settle on a woman.

                “There’s a bar just around the corner.” A beat. “You new in town?”


             Hyper active senses allow her to pick up on the agitation of the other male,  how thin his patience seemed to be. His quickened breathing, the slight increase of his pulse - she could practically taste the aggravation rolling off him in waves.

                        Thankfully, he didn’t seem like the type to let out said frustrations on strangers. She liked him already.

                 ”Yeah, just moved in. Needed a fresh start.” She’s lost count of how many of those she’s had by this point. “Seems like this is a pretty good place for that.”
